There could be an explanation you never received. Someone may admit that timing, fear, personal circumstances, or uncertainty influenced a decision that once seemed impossible to understand.
Hearing their side could change how you interpret the past. It may not erase disappointment, but it could remove some of the questions Leo has carried much longer than expected.
The explanation might even reveal that the door did not close because the connection lacked meaning. It may simply have closed because neither person was in the right position to keep it open.
Your reaction could surprise you
Perhaps you once imagined that this person returning would immediately change everything. When it actually happens, Leo may realize that they are much calmer than expected.
You might still feel curious or emotionally connected, but you may no longer be willing to abandon your boundaries. September could reveal that you have changed enough to approach an old opportunity without becoming trapped inside the old emotions.
That may actually give the connection a better chance of becoming something healthier. It could also help you recognize quickly if reopening the door is not what you truly want.
The door may belong to someone new
Not every reopened possibility involves a person from your past. Sometimes the “closed door” is an idea Leo gave up on because it seemed unrealistic.
A new person could suddenly make that possibility practical again. Someone might offer help, introduce you to the right contact, or give you information that changes what you believed was possible.
What seemed unavailable in August may look completely different once September brings new circumstances. The opportunity may have remained the same while everything around it finally changed.
Work could produce the biggest surprise
